Woodlands Academy of the Sacred Heart is seeking and Admission Associate to work in the Office of Admission & Affordability. This is a part time (3 day), 12-month position, some evenings and weekends required. The Admission Associate works as part of a team in a busy and evolving admissions office. This position is a mix of administrative/office support and customer service. The Admission Associate will report to the Director of Admission and Affordability and will join a highly collaborative, innovative, and experienced faculty. 

Responsibilities Include:
  • Managing the day to day activities of the office
  • Overseeing all office mailings and correspondence
  • Coordinating the student visit “shadow day” program
  • Providing administrative support to the department
  • Participating in all office recruitment events as needed
  • Representing the office at outreach events, travel possible

Desired Skills/Qualities:
  • Self-motivated, organized, and works well independently
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with Senior Systems a plus (or similar integrated school software)
  • Have strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with adolescents and adults
  • Experience in sales and/or marketing
  • Interested and invested in Sacred Heart education

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communicating clearly in written and oral forms with a diversity of constituents; detail oriented and highly organized
  • At least 3 years of experience in admissions preferred
  • Support, implement, and model the Goals and Criteria for Sacred Heart Schools
  • Uphold professional standards of personal presentation, discretion, punctuality, and clear, direct, open communication
  • Understanding of adolescents and single gender education
  • Passion for selling the value of a single gender high school experience for young women
  • Engage in the life of the school (presence at assemblies, meeting, events, etc.) 
  • A commitment to cultural diversity and ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • A willingness to be an active, enthusiastic member of the Woodlands community
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in an appropriate educational field is required
  • Must be able to drive and have a car
