Job Title: Network Programs Director

Full or Part Time: Full Time

Network Program Director is a new position at the Convent of the Sacred Heart in New York City. This is a very exciting administrative/teaching position for a professional educator. Director will need to demonstrate significant initiative, imagination and the management skills necessary to create and run new opportunities.

Director will start work in September 2020 and will answer directly to the Head of School. Initially, the Director will design, implement and conduct an exchange instructional program with our sister school in Atherton, California. The new program will start in the summer of 2021 with 20 students, 10 from each school, and will grow to a full cohort of at least 40 students in the following year (summer of 2022). This program will give students a Sacred Heart mission-driven experience of what it would be like to work in major technology and finance enterprises both in Silicon Valley and on Wall Street. During the regular school year, the Director will provide seminars on entrepreneurship as seen through the lens of Sacred Heart’s Goals and Criteria.

The Director will also develop other exchange and instructional opportunities with select Sacred Heart schools within the United States and around the world. These programs will be open to students at all age levels as appropriate.

The qualifications include the ability to think creatively and to execute proper and effective management of diverse programs. Masters degree preferred. Ability to translate the mission of Sacred Heart education into an inspirational experience of entrepreneurship in technology and financial sectors. This job requires a full-year contract, the ability to travel and participate fully in each program as needed. It is an exempt position with competitive salary and benefits.
