Middle and Upper School Drama Teacher Leave Replacement

Position: Middle and Upper School Drama Teacher Leave Replacement
Reports to: Performing Arts Department Chair and Middle School Division Head
FLSA: Exempt, full-time
We are seeking an experienced Middle and Upper School Drama Teacher for a Leave Replacement beginning August 25, 2022, through December 2022.
- Teach all Middle and Upper School required drama classes and electives
- Direct the Upper School fall play
- Supervise technical aspects of the stage production
- Mentor student drama association club
- Work in close collaboration with other members of the performing arts department with regard to classwork and stage production
- Knowledge of, appreciation for, and demonstrated commitment to anti-racist, anti-bias education, multicultural teaching, and culturally responsive pedagogy
- Masters degree preferred
- Professional theater experience in acting and directing
- Collaborative, versatile theater skills are essential
