Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat's vision and commitment to action and life-long learning continue to inspire the word of Sacred Heart educators today. Sacred Heart Educator programs are designed and inspired by the Goals and Criteria.
Educator programs build upon the formational opportunities offered in each school. Educators are encouraged to further their knowledge of Sacred Heart education, build bonds with Network colleagues and foster collaboration across the Network and around the globe.
Aspiring Leaders Program
The Aspiring Leaders Program is a two-year leadership formation experience designed to identify, nurture, and develop emerging leaders within the Network of Sacred Heart Schools. Participants are nominated by their Head of School because of their demonstrated leadership gifts, commitment to Sacred Heart education, and potential to assume greater leadership within their schools and the Network.
Roots That Give Us Wings
Roots That Give Us Wings is a Network and Conference of Sacred Heart formation program designed to deepen participants’ understanding of the history, spirituality, and educational mission of the Society of the Sacred Heart and Sacred Heart education. It provides educators with an opportunity to explore the traditions and values that have shaped Sacred Heart education while considering how that legacy continues to call and inspire us today.
Sacred Heart Educators Symposium
The Sacred Heart Educators Symposium is a Network-wide professional learning and formation experience that brings together teachers, learning specialists, and academic administrators from Sacred Heart schools across the United States and Canada. Grounded in the Goals and Criteria and the mission of Sacred Heart education, the Symposium provides educators with opportunities to deepen their practice, strengthen their connection to mission, and learn with and from colleagues across the Network.
Network Administration Team Conference
The Network Administration Team Conference brings together administrative leadership teams from Sacred Heart schools across the Network for a shared experience of formation, collaboration, and strategic thinking. Designed to strengthen both individual and collective leadership, the conference provides time for school teams to step away from the demands of daily operations and reflect together on their shared responsibility for advancing the mission of Sacred Heart education.
