A gathering of musicians, vocalists, liturgists and campus ministers from across the Network with famed composer Michael Joncas.
In addition to presentations and conversation on the role of sacred and liturgical music in contemporary society, participants will learn the music for the Hymn and Mass to Philippine Duchesne composed by Michael Joncas.These works, commissioned by the Society of the Sacred Heart for the Bicentennial of Philippine’s arrival in North America, will be performed at a special mass concluding in November 2018 to close the year-long celebration.
