Echoes from Rebecca

Suzanne Cooke, RSCJ
I am always shocked by the arrival of May. What about you? It may be that as a former Head of School, I still operate within the framework of the academic year. Once May arrives, I am acutely aware of what still needs to be accomplished by June.

Do you ever feel your mind undated with constant, distracted activity? Do you ever wonder if it is possible to create sufficient silence to catch your breadth by pausing in stillness? Candidly there are days when I find this is very difficult to do. I have a suggestion. Give yourself 14 minutes to watch and listen to a video about Philippine Duchesne and the invitation offered by the Society of the Sacred Heart:

To create silence
To live more humanly
To cross frontiers
To be and act as One.

Deciding to give yourself the chance to listen and absorb this lovely video will make these final weeks of the school year that much more enjoyable or rewarding. Here is the vimeo link to Echoes from the Rebecca. I think you will see that the questions and ideas posed will reverberate within your very soul.
