Eighth graders build community during annual Pensacola trip

Academy of the Sacred Heart, The Rosary - New Orleans, LA
Eighth graders traveled to Pensacola Beach from October 24-26 for the annual eighth grade class trip, which provided them with an opportunity for intellectual and spiritual growth in an environment that encouraged the formation of new friendships and the strengthening of existing ones. To build community and develop leadership skills, students were challenged to step outside of their comfort zones through activities such as an escape room, low ropes, and indoor rock climbing.

The structure supporting Sacred Heart education in Canada and the United States includes the Conference of Sacred Heart Education and the Network of Sacred Heart Schools.  Together they provide services and programs to ensure vitality of mission for the member schools sponsored by the Society of the Sacred Heart.
