The 25 Schools of the Sacred Heart in the United States and Canada find unity in a shared mission articulated in the Goals and Criteria. To ensure the vitality of mission, the structure supporting Sacred Heart education includes the Network of Sacred Heart schools and the Conference of Sacred Heart Education.

  • Dr. Korin Visocchi

    Executive Director

    Dr. Korin Visocchi joined the Network of Sacred Heart Schools as Executive Director in February 2021. She holds a Ph.D in Educational Leadership and Ed.S in School Administration from Oakland University, MA in Education from the University of Michigan, and undergraduate degrees from Michigan State University in International Studies and History.  Her research interests include the intersection of lived experience and leadership development in independent schools.  During her 11 years at Academy of the Sacred Heart in Michigan, she taught in the Upper School, served as Network exchange coordinator, led accreditation self-studies, and served as Associate Head of School.  Korin has experience in curriculum review, leadership coaching and strategic planning. She serves on the parish council at Ss. Peter and Paul Jesuit Church in Detroit and is also a board member for the Honors College at Oakland University.  Korin enjoys traveling, camping and hiking with her family.

  • Suzanne Cooke, RSCJ

    Head of Conference

    Suzanne Cooke, RSCJ holds a BA cum laude in English and History from Manahttanville College and an Interdisciplinary Masters from the University of Chicago. She has taught at a variety of Sacred Heart schools in the United States and served as Head of School at Forest Ridge in Bellevue, Washington (1990-1998) and at Carrollton in Miami, Florida (1998-2015). She served the Advisory Council for Anytime, Anywhere Learning, a learning with laptops program sponsored by Microsoft. Having served on several Boards of Trustees within the Network, Sr. Cooke also was a member of the Sacred Heart Commission on Goals, the Network Board, the Northwest Association of Independent Schools and Florida Council of Independent Schools. Suzanne is currently the Head of the Conference of Sacred Heart Education. She was a delegate to the General Chapter of the Society of the Sacred Heart in 2016.

  • Alicia D. Pelzer-Johnson

    Office Manager

    Alicia D. Pelzer-Johnson graduated from University of Maryland in 1998 with a degree in accounting. She has received professional training in finance management, project management, administration, and leadership. She opens the line of communication between both clients, customers and businesses to get projects done. With 20 years in both public and private sectors, she has experience in management consultation, team building, professional development, strategic implementation and company collaborations. She enjoys reading and traveling.

  • Nadia Sadeghian Gonzalez

    Web Manager

    Nadia Sadeghian Gonzalez attended Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart in Houston, Texas from August 1995 until she graduated in May 2006. She received her undergraduate degree in International Affairs from University of St. Thomas (2010) and her law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston (2014). She is licensed in both Texas and the District of Columbia. She joined the Network as the Office Manager shortly after she relocated to Washington, D.C. in 2015 with her husband. She is now serving remotely from Houston, Texas as the Web Manager for sacredheartusc.education.

  • Margaret "Meg" Causey, RSCJ

    Consultant - Social Justice

    Sister Causey’s approach to social justice issues involves an integration of spirituality, theology, and action that emphasizes going beneath the surface to advocate and fight for change in the systems and structures that perpetuate the injustices imbedded in the issues. She has spent 26 years in Network schools and higher education as an administrator and teacher working with young people to help them move from education to action—action that connects with others working for change locally, nationally and internationally. 





Schools of the Sacred Heart share in the educational mission of the Society of the Sacred Heart as articulated in the Goals and Criteria. The structure supporting Sacred Heart education in Canada and the United States includes the Conference of Sacred Heart Education and the Network of Sacred Heart Schools.  Together they provide services and programs to ensure vitality of mission for the member schools sponsored by the Society of the Sacred Heart.
