GSA Day for Rainbow Refugees

Sacred Heart School of Halifax
At SHSH, we’re all about sharing love in a safe and accepting environment. Our Gender and Sexuality Alliance recently held a colour day by donation, bake sale, and screening of “Love, Simon” all to raise funds for Rainbow Refugees; an organization that helps LGBTQ asylum seekers.
Thanks to the efforts of our GSA and everyone who donated, we were able to raise an incredible $954.00 to help these refugees feel safe and accepted in our city. Special thanks to Michael McCallum, Gordon MacKinnon, and Carolyn MacKenzie for helping our GSA organize this incredible day!
