Understanding Differences and Practicing Empathy
The need to open ourselves to different life experiences and practice empathy is more important than ever. Central to this need is an understanding of one’s self and one’s personal experiences. The purpose of this program is to engage students in meaningful self-reflection and strengthen their capacity to practice empathy and recognize the inherent dignity of all human beings.   • Date & Time: Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 11:00am - 3:00pm (EST)
  • Participants: This program is open to students in the 10th Grade.

Student Advisory Committee
The Network Student Advisory Committee (NSAC) is a new and exciting opportunity for approximately 20 high school-aged representatives from Sacred Heart Schools within the United States and Canada. NSAC members will serve as liaisons between the Network Office and students at schools. The purpose of the committee is to connect students and create a platform for them to collaborate on new initiatives for schools at the Network level. All high school-aged students from a Network School are invited to apply. Applications are due by Monday, October 4, 2021. To read more about this new opportunity, click here. 

Student Leadership Program
“By graduation, Sacred Heart students have developed the skills and competencies necessary to navigate their future with hope, joy and purpose” (Profile of a Graduate, 2021). 
This workshop series will explore key skills for student leaders and engage them in project-based learning. Some focus areas will include growing self-understanding, understanding community needs through research and analysis, strategy development and implementation, and evaluation.

Schools of the Sacred Heart share in the educational mission of the Society of the Sacred Heart as articulated in the Goals and Criteria. The structure supporting Sacred Heart education in Canada and the United States includes the Conference of Sacred Heart Education and the Network of Sacred Heart Schools.  Together they provide services and programs to ensure vitality of mission for the member schools sponsored by the Society of the Sacred Heart.
